Lymphatic drainage massage is a collection of gentle techniques used to help the body recover from cases of severe swelling (edema). This work is usually something that is done at the recommendation or in coordination with a physician to treat specific conditions.
Lymphatic work is going to be most appropriate for post-surgical patients, cancer patients, diabetics, or any others dealing with a health condition that causes severe fluid retention. Expect the work to be very light, slow, and focused.
