Precision Wellness Medical Massage
Medical Massage Is Prescribed By A Physician
Medical massage is results oriented and the treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. Our medical massage practitioners may use a variety of modalities or procedures during your treatment, but we will focus our treatments only on the areas of the body related to your diagnosis and prescription.
Medical prescription massage involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation, and movement of locomotor soft tissues to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction. A unique multidisciplinary approach is utilized to restore structural balance throughout the body which will allow us to focus on the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, chronic pain, and injuries.
Will Insurance Pay For My Medical Massage Treatments?
Some prescription massage treatments may be covered by insurance. Medical massage with prescription is generally billed in 15-minute segments using current procedural terminology and adhering to the usual and customary reimbursement fee schedule. Many Flex Spending and Health Care savings programs will pay for Medical Massage Therapy. Please check with your insurance provider to determine your coverage. Precision Therapeutic Massage will provide you with documentation and receipts for reimbursement. Payment is due at time of service.
