Favorite service type I offer: Varies from day to day and client to client but I prefer puzzles and challenges.

Self-care faves

Salt air when I can get it! Travel, hiking and backpacking. Salt floating in a deprivation chamber. Creating, gardening and plants. Challenging myself and pushing my limits to see what I am capable of.

What I Do and Why

Integrative therapeutic: I take knowledge from many modalities and utilize them in one session depending on what my client needs that day. I pull from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Passive and Active Release techniques, Reiki, Chi Gong, Thai, TCM, NMT, Myofascial and Ayurveda.

Sports: I LOVE my athletes. Being a former runner and player myself and raising 3 athletic kiddos I find the athletic mindset in a phenomenal one and watching my athlete clients reach new goals and set new times and records is a joy for me.

Stretching: A much needed and underutilized modality that has tremendous impacts in every way possible.

Migraine management: Knowing migraines personally I sympathize with the living nightmare they produce and the uphill recovery after each episode. Massage has helped to alleviate the severity of some of my headaches and I appreciate having the ability to do what I can for those whom I share this challenge with.

Client education: I see my clients for an hour to 90 minutes at a time out of their busy lives. I believe that I am just a facilitator of their health and healing. The majority of the time the rest is all them and I do what I can to give them the tips and tools to help themselves between appointments and to advocate for their own wellness. I do not take credit for their progress because I believe that I am only a vehicle of translation from their body to their knowledge in their journey back to themselves.

A Little about me

I was born in Springfield, MO, and grew up in the greater Seattle area. Over the years, I have lived in several places, including Dallas, TX, St. Louis, and Kansas City, MO, as well as Milan, Italy. I always wanted a career that would challenge me and allow me to work anywhere. Massage therapy turned out to be a natural fit for me. Through my work, I have met many wonderful people from all walks of life, and each one has taught me something new. I am grateful every day that I can help others in their journey towards inner peace and healing.

My husband is retired military, and we are both empty nesters now. We love traveling and learning about different cultures. We enjoy spending time at the beach, hiking, back-country camping, and floating. When we are not exploring, we like to live the old ways and homestead.
